It all starts with asmile.

What we do?

We are here to listen, to learn, to inform and to educate, but most importantly, we are here to provide a product that will keep you and yours safe and healthy. Our gluten sensor is not the world's first food sensor, but it is the first reliable, portable tool to help you detect what you cannot see... the presence, transfer and cross-contamination of gluten in food. Our NIMA Partners gluten sensor can detect20 ppm(parts per million) of gluten in complex matrices, and we are working hard to expand our offer to other food allergens.

We are not a medical device, we are an additional protective resource and a trusted assistant for your gluten-free journey. We cannot do this alone, but we can do it with you. We know how hard you work every day, and we want to help make your life a little easier while you do it.

As
It works?

The science is in every NIMA Partners capsule, it includes antibodies, a test strip, and a liquid extraction formula. As the reaction on the test strip develops, an electronic sensor and associated algorithm detect the test result. Electronic reading of results reduces the likelihood of interpretation erroneous. The detection algorithm is improved and updated via Bluetooth via the NIMA Partners mobile app. The algorithm can be updated by downloading the latest firmware updates from the application. In less than five minutes, NIMA Partners will provide the result.

What's inside the Capsule?

TEST STRIP

A disposable capsule is used to test foods with the NIMA Partners sensor. The capsule contains a test strip pre-loaded with our antibodies. The antibodies bind to the protein and show a signal change on the strip that is detected by NIMA Partners' patented processing algorithm.

CAP
LIQUID EXTRACTION

In order to detect protein in food, protein molecules need to be isolated and extracted from the rest of food molecules. The fluid in the capsule's extraction chamber is able to break the bonds between proteins and other food molecules, leaving the protein itself in a liquid solution, which reacts to the strip.

THE SENSOR

As the reaction on the test strip develops, an electronic sensor and associated algorithm detect the test result. Electronic reading of the result eliminates the need for a trained operator to evaluate the results and reduces the likelihood of misinterpretation. The algorithm is improved and updated via Bluetooth via the NIMA Partners mobile app. The algorithm can be updated by downloading the latest firmware updates from the application.

Validation
and
Accuracy.

The NIMA Partners system has been rigorously tested in the lab, in the field and through independent partners over thousands of tests. The results were also published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. When compared to leading food lab ELISA tests, NIMA Partners is 97% accurate in detecting levels of20 parts per million (ppm)and higher for gluten.

NIMA Partners carries out regular quality controls. Each manufactured batch of NIMA Partners Test Capsules is quality tested.

How to Test.

Use a new capsule. With your hand or a clean utensil, place a small amount of food the size of a pea into the capsule. NIMA Partners can analyze both solids and liquids.

Close the capsule lid completely. When turning, you will hear a click. Keep turning until you can no longer see the green ring and the edge of the capsule is aligned.

Insert the capsule into the sensor until you hear a click.
Press the “Start” button to start the test. Within a few minutes you will get the result.
