GENERATORS INMEDICAL OZONE

 

The ozone generator produces exclusively medical grade ozone, containing between 0.05 and 5% ozone, in a pure oxygen mixture. In order to generate a medically usable oxygen-ozone mixture, the generator must be supplied with chemically pure oxygen, > 99.9%, from a certified medical grade oxygen bottle and not air. in addition to thetwoit's the3there must be no other substances present in the gas mixture produced.

The concentration is expressed in μg/NmL and should make it possible to measure accurate ozone concentrations (1-80 μg/NmL). In the EU, ozone generators are class IIb medical devices.
Ozone is a very unstable gas due to its high energy level. Therefore, this technology implies the need for sophisticated equipment for generation, conduction and dosing.

 

Medical ozone generators must have very specific characteristics:

- Generation from oxygen with 99.9% purity in order not to form nitrites
- Adjust concentration levels on the fly, between 1 and 100 micrograms
